About SNAPTEX
SNAPTEX is a high-performance textile brand that aims to enhance performance by incorporating SPS fiber and adding hydrophobic properties to specific areas of the fabric.
By optimizing yarn blending ratios for each season, it delivers materials designed for different environments—staying dry and resistant to stickiness in hot weather, while retaining heat and reducing heat loss in colder conditions.
SNAPTEX supports comfortable wear throughout the year.
About SPS Fiber
SPS fiber is a high-performance synthetic fiber made from syndiotactic polystyrene.
It is a crystalline polystyrene with a “syndiotactic structure,” in which molecules are arranged in a regular pattern. Compared to polyester, it is lighter in weight, does not absorb water, and is less affected by external temperature conditions, offering a range of excellent properties. In addition, its high heat resistance makes it well suited for ironing and heat-based processing, expanding the possibilities for design and product specifications.

Revolutionizing Layering
Traditional outdoor layering has been based on wearing a garment with a “water-repellent layer” next to the skin, and layering over it a garment with a “moisture-absorbing and quick-drying layer” that absorbs pushed-out sweat.
This system helps prevent moisture from remaining on the skin and reduces the risk of heat loss caused by sweat-induced chilling (i.e., hypothermia).
SNAPTEX is an innovative material that reproduces this layering system within a single fabric.
